In my most recent dining experience, FreshMenu utterly fell short of its promise as a haven for foodies seeking a wide variety of cuisines at reasonable prices. Although there were many international meals on the menu, such as Indian, Mediterranean, Asian, and others, the food was of poor quality, which created an unpleasant (and symbolic) image.
Fresh Menu’s assertion that it could offer diverse, affordable food was a charade. Although there were many options and the cloud kitchen concept was practical, the meal’s quality and presentation were lacking. The poor service made my lunch experience less than ideal. I’ll explain why.

Expert Review

FreshMenu stands out from other food businesses I’ve encountered but in a negative way. After my recent interactions with them, I am utterly dissatisfied and even repulsed by their goods and services. Their food lacks flavour and quality, thus any discerning diner would be dissatisfied if they ordered from them.

Of the numerous awful dishes I’ve tasted from FreshMenu, their supposedly famous Thali is the most obvious example of culinary ineptitude. The awful flavour left a lingering sense of disappointment long after the meal was over. The addition of raw onions to the jeera rice, however, was what truly baffled and disgusted me. That couldn’t have been considered a tasty compliment by any reasonable person. It violates every cooking standard and makes the entire meal all but inedible.

The Thali’s accompanying chicken was also really repulsive. It was flavourless and tasted like a reheated freezer supper rather than something fresh. The overwhelming smell of raw onion permeated the entire dinner, ruining any potential enjoyment of the poor dining experience.

Lastly, FreshMenu’s meal selection is simply appalling. From the flavourless chicken to the perplexing toppings, everything about their food is poor quality. I can’t recommend FreshMenu to anyone searching for a great lunch without feeling bad. To save yourself the disappointment, stay away from this culinary catastrophe at all costs.
