It’s a rarity to find live music venues in the city, let alone those featuring Bollywood tunes. On its launch day, Desi Deck’s cocktails made a significant impact, and I can personally attest to their appeal. Let’s begin by discussing the delectable food offerings before delving into the tantalizing cocktails.
Desi Deck offers a mouthwatering selection of dishes influenced by traditional Punjabi and other Delhi cuisines and cultures. The chef has done an excellent job of tailoring these delicacies to the refined tastes of Bangaloreans. The traditional tikka, the filled Parata, and the sweet and savoury desi sweets were among my favourites. The sweets, especially the Gulab Jamun Cheesecake, were the best part of the dinner for me. Also, while you’re there, don’t forget to laugh at some of the cleverly titled dishes on the menu.
Let’s talk about the drinks now, since that’s where Desi Deck really shows off. Rasam Whisky, Jaljira Vodka, and Ice Gola cocktails are just a few of the exotic Indian libations in their selection. These drinks are not only delicious but also conceptually novel. The Jaljira Vodka was the best vodka I’ve ever had.
