Review
Drunkling is an elegant and refined dining option. The chef’s innovative takes on the dishes may have been a little out there, but they certainly didn’t detract from the meal’s overall quality. The non-vegetarian items I tried, especially the sizzlers, were full of flavour. The chef’s sizzling skills were on full display, as the meat was cooked to perfection and very soft.
I had many items, from chicken to mutton to vegetarian fare, and found them to be of above-average quality. The mutton Seekh kabab and the paneer tikka were two of the standouts.
Moving on to the cocktails, I have to add that they were well made and included a delicious combination of flavours. I’m glad to hear that the Obsession drink has been fine-tuned since I had a few small complaints about it before. The bartenders knew just how to make drinks like Pop My Cherry, Cilantro Jalapeno Margarita, and Aam Panna. I think the Aam Panna drink is fantastic, and it deserves to win the “Foodie Says Yummy” award that Drunkling has been nominated for.
The caramel custard dessert deserves a particular mention; it was really tasty. Lastly, much appreciation goes to Dominic Savio for his kind hospitality.
