Tangerine is a new restaurant located inside the famous Davanam Sarovar Portico Suites Hotel in BTM Layout, In front of Madivala Police Station and Next to Total Mall. The Tangerine is basically world cuisine restaurant serving almost all the famous dishes from around the world. They are known for their best Japanese, Korean and other dishes which makes them one of the unique restaurants in Bangalore. The Tangerine Master Chef is a Nepali Guy and he is awesome because he really knows the way of blending flavours and mix matching different cuisines. I will tell you more about this in the below review.

Before talking about the food, I would like to talk about something which might interest any foodie. Tangerine of the Davanam Sarovar Portico Suites has a unique treat called Happiness @ Sarovar were you can call the chief chef and make your own dish. Let me tell you my experience, I was told about this special and I wanted to try it badly. I called the main chef and told him to make chicken tikka with little spice and extra flavouring. To my surprise, I got chicken tikka (which was not in the Buffet) with better flavouring and spice and the best part is that the chicken was very very tender and my heart melted. However I wanted to test the office again and asked Paneer Tikka with Chefs special flavouring, Again it blows me away not only because of its amazing flavour but the paneer was grilled perfectly. Both tender chicken and spongy paneer made my taste buds active to taste more dishes. I ordered a Fish Dish and again it was very fresh and tender and I loved it. Coming to the Buffet, It was a huge buffet and I liked it all. However, I did have a complaint about Apple Pie but I think that doesn’t matter because all the dishes were perfect. Special Mentions other than the “Chef Special” would be Soya Sauce Fish Fry, Sea Food Mix Biryani and Orange Mousse which was awesome and must try dishes.
