With its bold promise to use only the highest quality, locally sourced products, the recently opened Aahara restaurant in Bangalore’s RR Nagar neighbourhood has been creating quite a stir. Undoubtedly, all eyes are on their ₹299/-Unlimited Biryani deal, an enticing offer that raises the question of whether it’s worth the price and how well it tastes.

Aahara Review

You may be caught unawares by the throng of people when you enter Aahara, forcing you to manoeuvre through a sea of people. But once inside, you’ll be greeted by the delicious aroma of biryani. I had three appetisers: lemon chicken, chicken kebab, and chilli chicken, and I ordered the ₹299/-Unlimited Biryani, which came with freshly cooked biryani served directly from the pan.

Because the biryani’s rice was cracked, giving the dish an undercooked quality, our first concerns about the deal’s cost were well-founded. Those in search of an exquisite dining experience would want to look elsewhere than broken rice biryani, in my opinion. Although the starters were good, they didn’t elevate the mediocre biryani.

One intriguing thing about the biryani was how the chicken and rice were distributed unevenly. It was unbalanced because more chicken was served at the beginning and then more rice.

If you’re looking for a reasonably priced restaurant in Bangalore, Aahara can be a good option. If you’re up for splurging a bit more, though, you could find that other options offer a more fulfilling culinary adventure.

The service was one of the major downsides that surfaced. The high number of customers likely causes the long wait times, which might reach twenty minutes per customer or more. While it’s reasonable to expect some delays, it would be beneficial for the company and customers alike if we could figure out a way to reduce crowding.

Finally, picky eaters can be disappointed if they try Aahara. The food scene in Bangalore is dynamic, so if you’re looking for something more delicious, it might be worth your time to check out some other places.
