Review

Glocal Junction is unlike any other restaurant in Bengaluru because of its innovative fusion of global and Indian/local flavours. During my stay, I had a wide range of foods and beverages, including some from the Holi drinks menu, which were inspired by regional ingredients. Let’s start with my thoughts on these Holi drinks, since in my opinion, a restaurant’s level of skill can be gauged by how well it makes cocktails.

The Holi drinks were, in a word, fantastic, with wonderful flavour combinations. Thandai Chai Ke Sath, Desi Jugaad, and Rang Rasiyaa were some of the best. The mix of vodka and masala chai flavouring in Thandai Chai Ke Sath was particularly memorable. I think you should try it if it’s on the normal menu. Each of the concoctions they made was delicious.

Let’s go on to the meal itself. Everything from the chicken wings to the pizza to the rice at Glocal Junction demonstrates the restaurant’s outstanding grasp of flavours. The Chilli Chicken Pizza, in particular, stands out for its superb flavour profile and distinctive kick brought on by a dash of chilli powder. On the other hand, the Coorg Chicken will set your mouth on fire with its powerful spice. Coorg Chicken is the way to go if you’re looking for a hot appetiser to enjoy with your beer.

The chicken wings and fish fingers I had were delicious as well. Glocal Junction’s cuisine and drinks finally made me feel fulfilled after a long period. They’ve done an excellent job, and their products have my enthusiastic endorsement.
